Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano explains that the transfer starts from about 32 million euros as a fixed base and can reach up to 40 ‘kilos’ if the bonuses for the goals are achieved. The player signs until 2025.
Sadio Mané, who has scored 23 goals this season, has been one of the key pieces of Klopp’s Liverpool since he arrived at Anfield in 2016. Since then, he has made 269 appearances for the Reds, scoring 120 goals and providing 48 assists.
Mané, 30 years old (he turned 30 in April), has won the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020, as well as many other titles with Liverpool…. or the African Cup of Nations in January 2022. He is a proven player who will certainly bring quality and experience to Nagelsmann’s set-up at the Allianz.
A priority target
With Lewandowski’s future hanging in the balance, Salihamidzic and company made the signing of Sadio Mané a priority target for this summer. They were going to sign him, despite the fact that his contract ends in 2023.
According to German sources like “Sky” Liverpool was asking for about 50 million euros for the winger… and Bayern managed to close the deal for lower figures. His contract is expected to run until 2025, although the amounts are still unknown.
